Get the free Net Statistics application for Windows and you will be able to monitor the amount of data you send and receive on the network. The application provides real-time info about outgoing and incoming data and it calculates the max speed of your transfers. Net Statistics keeps track of how much data you transfer and presents it as a report.

The Net Statistics installation file is only 1.3MB in size, which means it will take little time for the download to complete. The same can be said about installing the application on your Windows-powered PC: it will take little time to go through the Net Statistics setup wizard and get the application up and running. It must be mentioned here that the setup wizard asks you to pick between a Full, Compact and Custom installation. The Full installation includes the main application and LinedUpdates Manager.

Launch the application and you will notice a Net Statistics icon in the system tray. Left click it and a floating window that shows information on network traffic will show up. Right click the system tray icon and you will be able to access the application’s Options menu. Among other settings, the Options menu lets you change the color scheme for the aforementioned floating window.

The functionality Net Statistics has to offer comes in handy if you need to monitor you network traffic. As mentioned above, you can use the application to see how much data you’re sending/receiving in real-time and you can use the application to view how much data you sent/received today, this week, or this month.
